Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul Enchantress strategy led by Bello, Bard of the Brambles. Bello turns every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment with mana value 4 or greater into a 4/4 Elemental with indestructible, haste, and combat-damage card draw during your turn. The list aggressively exploits this mechanic by packing seven pre-game Leylines, which enter the battlefield on Turn 0 for free and immediately become attack-ready beaters the moment Bello resolves. A dense suite of cheap green ramp ensures Bello lands consistently on Turn 2 or 3. Once established, the deck applies compounding combat pressure while refilling its hand with multiple extra cards each turn. Finishers like Unnatural Growth, Gratuitous Violence, and Bedlam rapidly scale combat damage to lethal levels across the table, while the two-card combo of Aggravated Assault and Nature's Will offers an infinite combat alternative. Efficient one-mana protection spells safeguard Bello from spot removal, making this a resilient, hard-hitting stompy engine.
