Deck overview

This mono-black attrition deck is commanded by Olinda the Oblivious, focusing on distributing permanent odor counters that penalize opponents during their upkeeps. To ensure every opponent has viable targets, the deck incorporates forced-donation pieces like Slaughter Specialist, Forbidden Orchard, and Genesis Chamber. Once opponents are tagged, the deck accelerates life loss with damage doublers and punishers such as Wound Reflection, Polluted Bonds, and Massacre Wurm. Defense is maintained through pillowfort artifacts and enchantments like Crawlspace, Silent Arbiter, and No Mercy, preventing retaliation from opponents trying to attack out of desperation. A robust suite of low-cost recursion instants protects Olinda from targeted destruction while resetting enters-the-battlefield triggers. A compact backup win condition exists through the Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank infinite mill and drain loop.
