Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis artifact engine strategy commanded by Ashnod the Uncaring. While Ashnod provides value by doubling sacrifice-activated abilities, the deck primarily functions as a storm-style artifact combo deck. It accelerates in the opening turns using efficient mana rocks and cost reducers before resolving card-advantage engines like Mystic Forge, The One Ring, or Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The primary path to victory involves pairing Mystic Forge or Bolas's Citadel with Sensei's Divining Top and a cost reducer to draw the entire library, generating surplus mana to finish the table with Exsanguinate. In alternate lines, the deck cheats high-impact artifacts like Portal to Phyrexia or Blightsteel Colossus into play using Goblin Welder and Daretti, Scrap Savant. Graveyard recursion gives the list resilience against removal.
