Deck overview

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is a Selesnya midrange token/lifegain deck. Trostani converts every entering creature into life, and that life fuels Aetherflux Reservoir, Nykthos Paragon, Archangel of Thune, and Soul of Eternity. The primary plan is to build a wide token army with Rhys the Redeemed, populate effects, and large Eldrazi, then finish through combat or alternate victory conditions such as Halo Fountain and Angel of Destiny. The single-faced commander is a life/token multiplier rather than a required engine; Rhys the Redeemed acts as a secondary hidden commander. The deck is a value-oriented midrange build that usually wins late through one enormous life-based attack or Halo Fountain once the board reaches fifteen or more creatures.
