Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf deck that turns Treasures into combat power. Thorin creates a Treasure when he or another Dwarf enters and gives Dwarves +1/+0 for each token you control. The deck floods the board with Dwarves using Dwarven Recruiter, Imperial Recruiter, and token makers, then multiplies Treasures with Magda, Xorn, Smothering Tithe, and Academy Manufactor. Magda acts as a hidden commander, tapping Dwarves for Treasures and tutoring artifacts or Dragons. Roaming Throne and Maskwood Nexus double triggers and make every creature a Dwarf. Wins come from pumped Dwarf attacks with Coat of Arms or double strike, plus Cavern-Hoard Dragon, Shivan Hellkite, and Knuckles the Echidna's 30-artifact win. Two infinite lines exist but need pieces.
