Deck overview

This deck is an exhibition Planeswalker Control strategy centered on Jace tribal synergy and custom Empower Jace mechanics. Led by Jace, Multiverse Architect, the deck leverages dense two-mana acceleration to deploy its commander on Turn 4, immediately establishing card selection through its +1 loyalty ability and taxing incoming combat attacks directed at planeswalkers. The midgame focuses on assembling defensive pillowfort layers like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison, accumulating planeswalker loyalty via proliferate spells, and generating card advantage through engines like The Theorist, Jace Beleren and Rhystic Study. The primary win condition arrives on Turn 6 by amassing twenty-five or more loyalty counters across active Jace planeswalkers—often expedited by Deepglow Skate or Oath of Teferi—and activating Jace, Reality Sculptor's ultimate ability to exile all but the final card of every opponent's library. Opponents receive one response cycle before losing to forced draws or empty libraries.
