Sephiroth Cells by user1455491

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fallen Hero

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros combat-aggro deck built entirely around Sephiroth, Fallen Hero's attack trigger: the moment Sephiroth swings, every modified creature you control (equipped, enchanted, or carrying a counter) becomes a base 7/5. The plan is to flood the board with cheap Humans and tokens - via Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, Myrel, Shield of Argive, and Hero of Bladehold - then turn that wide board into a wall of 7/5s in a single combat. Extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant and Karlach, Fury of Avernus chain the buff into a one-turn kill, while Crackle with Power and Eomer, King of Rohan's damage trigger offer non-combat finishers. The commander's Sephiroth, Fallen Hero|The Reunion ability makes him stubbornly recursive, sacrificing a modified creature to return him from the graveyard.
