Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Reanimator and Mill Combo strategy commanded by Lord Xander, the Collector. The deck focuses on using efficient tutors and discard effects to put game-ending Demons into the graveyard—such as Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Griselbrand, and Lord Xander—and cheating them into play on turns 3–4 with low-cost spells like Reanimate and Victimize. Once deployed, these creatures decimate opponents' hands and boards. Simultaneously, the deck features a compact two-card infinite combo with Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank, which can instantly mill and drain the entire table. Instant-speed undying spells (Undying Evil, Supernatural Stamina) serve a dual role, providing protection against removal while doubling Lord Xander's enter-the-battlefield and death triggers. Although explosive and highly resilient to creature removal, the deck's low land count of 30 lands requires disciplined mulligans to ensure consistent mana development.
