Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Voltron and forced-combat strategy helmed by Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. Alexios must attack every combat if able, cannot be sacrificed, and cannot attack his owner. At the start of each player's upkeep, that player gains control of Alexios, puts a +1/+1 counter on him, untaps him, and gives him haste. This forces four high-damage attacks across the table every single turn cycle. The deck enhances Alexios with evasion, double strike, and damage-multiplying equipment like Lizard Blades, Inquisitor's Flail, and Embercleave. It also breaks parity on severe untap locks like Static Orb and Storage Matrix, since Alexios untaps automatically via his triggered ability on each player's upkeep. With a dense suite of low-cost mana ramp, the deck consistently deploys Alexios on Turn 3 and eliminates the table by Turn 5 through relentless, compounding commander damage.
