Deck overview

This Bant deck unites lifegain synergies, planeswalker value engines, and creature-cheating mechanics under Mr. Foxglove. Early turns establish a defensive cushion with soul sisters and 2-mana ramp artifacts. Once Mr. Foxglove hits the battlefield, attacking either restocks an empty hand or drops high-cost threats and planeswalkers directly into play without paying mana costs. The deck leverages life-scaling payoffs such as Ajani, Strength of the Pride, Nykthos Paragon, and Aetherflux Reservoir, while setting up sudden victories through Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance. A secondary planeswalker package featuring multiple Jace and Ajani variants synergizes with Doubling Season, creating infinite token loops with Jace, Cunning Castaway or wiping opposing boards. The deck excels at resource generation and board presence, though it relies on combat damage prevention rather than stack-based countermagic for interaction.
