Deck overview

This deck is a specialized four-color poison and proliferate midrange strategy commanded by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. The primary game plan seeks to infect every opponent in the opening three turns through efficient toxic creatures, unblockable infect threats, or direct poison spells like Prologue to Phyresis. Once poison counters are seeded, the deck pivots into compounding proliferate engines. Casting Atraxa on Turn 4 initiates a clock that rapidly escalates with support from cards like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Evolution Sage, and Bloated Contaminator. Because poison counters cannot be removed, the deck applies inevitable, asymmetric pressure while drawing extra cards via Corrupted abilities. The list supports this clock with premier interaction, stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, and protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention to survive board wipes and secure victory by Turn 7.
