Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stax Stompy build centered around Ruxa, Patient Professor. It pairs explosive fast mana and disruptive stax artifacts with an aggressive, vanilla-creature beatdown core. In the early game, the deck accelerates its mana using mana dorks, moxen, and land enchantments while establishing disruptive pieces like Trinisphere, Winter Orb, or Root Maze to slow down faster opponents. It curves into stat-efficient vanilla creatures such as Leatherback Baloth and Kalonian Tusker, then deploys Ruxa, Patient Professor to allow those creatures to assign combat damage as though they were not blocked. The deck closes games rapidly on Turns 5 to 6 by resolving massive pump spells or creature tutors for Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or Overwhelming Stampede. While powerful in casual-to-high-powered pods, pilots must carefully navigate its internal non-bos between stax pieces and creature or artifact abilities.
