z Toxrill - Future Deck by user1077529

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Toxrill, the Corrosive attrition-control deck built around the commander's end-step slime counters, which shrink and destroy opposing creatures while generating 1/1 Slug tokens that convert into card draw. The primary plan is to ramp to the 7-mana commander, then grind the table down through a dense drain package - Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, Vein Ripper, and Ayara, First of Locthwain all punish every death - backed by edict effects (Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos) and token generation. Secondary wins include Revel in Riches (treasure accumulation) and the Kormus Bell + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth lock that turns all lands into 1/1 creatures for Toxrill to kill. The deck wins through inevitability rather than speed.
