Smaug Treasure Storm by SynCity

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure/Dragon deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The primary game plan is to generate a critical mass of Treasure tokens through a variety of enablers, then use that mana to fuel card draw via Smaug's triggered ability and deploy powerful dragons as finishers. The deck can win through combat damage with evasive dragons, reach the artifact-count thresholds of Hellkite Tyrant or Knuckles the Echidna, or burn out opponents with Crackle with Power and Reckless Fireweaver. Storm spells like Dragonstorm and Elemental Eruption provide explosive turns when the Treasure engine is running. The strategy is linear but synergistic, relying on accumulating Treasures to outpace opponents in card advantage and board presence.
