Deck overview

Lord of the Nazgul commands a Dimir spellslinger and Wraith tribal deck built to overrun opponents with evasive tokens. The primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost instant and sorcery spells to trigger your commander, creating a legion of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace. As you cast your nine copies of Nazgul, the Ring tempts you to place permanent +1/+1 counters across your entire Wraith board. Once you amass nine Wraiths, your commander transforms the entire army into 9/9 beaters for a lethal combat assault. A secondary win path leverages large mill spells like Maddening Cacophony and Dread Summons into a game-ending Living Death.
