Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm list led by Neera, Wild Mage. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration and cost reducers to cast Neera on Turn 5, immediately utilizing cheap 1-mana cantrips to spin the library into devastating payoffs like Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Thousand-Year Storm, or Hullbreaker Horror. In parallel, the deck features redundant burn engines such as Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Veyran, Voice of Duality, alongside an infinite damage combo in Ral, Storm Conduit and Fork. Mana velocity is steady through 2-drop artifacts, cost reducers, and Storm-Kiln Artist, while card flow is fueled by cantrips and spell-draw triggers. With critical onset established on Turn 5, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 6 by burning out opponents or swarming with hasty tokens. Although exposed to spell-limiting stax and targeted creature removal, strong functional redundancy and independent backup lines ensure resilient execution.
