Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

High Perfect Morcant leads a Golgari Elf swarm built around -1/-1 counters and token generation. The primary plan is a two-card engine: cast Morcant, resolve Flourishing Defenses, then let the commander's ETB blight trigger the enchantment, creating Elf tokens that retrigger Morcant. This rapidly builds a huge token army while wiping opponents' creatures. Secondary paths include Hapatra and Blowfly Infestation to produce Snake/Insect tokens and drain via Poison-Tip Archer, plus a classic beatdown strategy powered by Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, and Allosaurus Shepherd. Tutors find missing pieces, while Vraska and Massacre Girl add removal and alternate poison angles.
