Deck overview

This five-color Angel tribal deck, commanded by Seluma, Light of Aysen, leverages the commander's combat-damage trigger to reanimate Angels from the graveyard, creating a resilient, recursive board presence. The strategy centers on ramping into expensive Angels, deploying cost reducers like Starnheim Aspirant and Urza's Incubator, then overwhelming opponents with a swarm of flying, evasive threats. Primary win conditions include combat damage via extra combat steps (Aurelia, the Warleader), life-gain triggers that generate tokens (Resplendent Angel, Bishop of Wings), and the potential "you can't lose" lock from The Book of Exalted Deeds. The deck packs heavy protection (Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Teferi's Protection) and stax elements (Angel of Jubilation, Linvala, Keeper of Silence) to control the pace.
