Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger combo list piloted by Vivi Ornitier. The strategy revolves around landing Vivi early to convert cheap noncreature spells into incremental damage, +1/+1 counters, and substantial bursts of mana through Vivi's activated ability. The deck leverages this mana acceleration to chain cantrips, draw vast quantities of cards with enchantments like Curiosity or engines like Archmage Emeritus, and dig into decisive win conditions. Its primary path to victory is a compact infinite combo with Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage to create infinite hasty attackers, supported by an alternative storm line utilizing Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze. Backed by cheap, efficient countermagic and spot removal, the deck defends its combo windows while disrupting opposing game plans. It operates at high speed, assembling its core engine by Turn 4 and threatening immediate same-turn table elimination.
