Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet burn and spellslinger list commanded by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph. The primary strategy pairs Ghyrson's static ability with low-cost pingers and mass-burn spells to turn every instance of 1 damage into 3 damage. Cheap spells such as End the Festivities and Blazing Volley act as one-sided board wipes against utility creatures while rapidly burning opponents. The deck supplements this burn clock with efficient stack interaction and redirection spells to protect Ghyrson. As a compact backup win condition, it includes Niv-Mizzet, Parun alongside Curiosity and Ophidian Eye to assemble a game-ending card-draw damage loop. The deck operates with high consistency due to its dense redundancy of 1-damage triggers, maintaining a fast and proactive clock from Turn 5 onwards.
