Deck overview

This Boros burn and lifegain deck centers around Ragost, Deft Gastronaut, transforming every artifact into Food and turning food sacrifices into table-wide direct damage. By enchanting or equipping Ragost with lifelink, each 3-damage ping to the table yields 9 life. This life gain triggers Ragost's end step ability to untap at the beginning of each player's end step. Leveraging untapping mana sources like Victory Chimes and Bender's Waterskin, Ragost activates on every single turn, dealing 12 damage per rotation to each opponent while generating a 36-life buffer per cycle. Token producers like Academy Manufactor, Ravenous Robots, and Weapons Manufacturing keep the food engine fueled. A dense suite of 1-mana protection spells shields Ragost from targeted removal while the burn quickly drains opposing life totals.
