Guildpact Cycle by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is the engine of a four-color cascade deck that wants to connect once with combat damage, then convert every spell in hand into free additional spells. The deck pairs cascade with spell-slinging payoffs: Leyline of Lightning pings, Niv-Mizzet turns draws into damage, and Averna pushes lands into play. Secondary beatdown and burn lines use Borborygmos, Ulasht, and Rumbling Slum, while the Rusalka cycle and Gruul Guildmage turn spare creatures and lands into reach. Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind acts as a hidden secondary commander if Yidris is kept off the board. The plan is linear but neither infinite nor combo-driven, so it wins by accumulating damage rather than assembling one decisive loop.
