Deck overview

This mono-blue Orvar deck is a copy-ramp combo-control hybrid. The primary plan is to land Orvar, target an Island with a cheap cantrip to create an Island token, then chain buyback Mind Games plus Peregrine Drake or Palinchron to generate infinite Drake copies and mana. Archmage Emeritus or Archmage of Runes turns that loop into a deck-drawing engine. The secondary path is tempo-control: counters, bounces, and Propaganda stall while Agent of Treachery, Sower of Temptation, and Vesuvan Duplimancy accrue value. Finishing uses Time Warp with Archaeomancer and Ghostly Flicker to take infinite turns and swing with the Drake swarm. Eluge lowers spell costs but is not a true hidden commander.
