Format: Commander

Commander: Radagast of Rhosgobel

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Radagast of Rhosgobel is a mono-green creature-casting engine rather than a win condition: his {2} discount and flash make expensive creatures cheap and allow end-step development. The primary plan is to ramp into Radagast by turns 3-4, chain creature-cast triggers through Beast Whisperer, Soul of the Harvest, Garruk's Packleader, and Radagast the Brown, then win with trample overrun effects such as End-Raze Forerunners, Overwhelming Stampede, Thunderfoot Baloth, or Unnatural Growth. A secondary path uses a cheap Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Return of the Wildspeaker. Radagast the Brown acts as a hidden-commander-style value engine in the 99, but the deck is built around Radagast of Rhosgobel's discount.
