Commander: Drivnod, Carnage Dominus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, built to flood the board with disposable tokens and recursively sacrifice them for value. Death-trigger payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance drain the table, while Drivnod, Carnage Dominus doubles every such trigger for explosive reach. Primary wins come from infinite sacrifice loops pairing outlets (Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar, Viscera Seer, Warren Soultrader) with self-recurring bodies (Gravecrawler, Bloodghast, Reassembling Skeleton) and drain engines, or from the classic Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose life-swap combo. Secondary paths include big Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains, Bolas's Citadel storms, and attrition via Grave Pact and Sothera, the Supervoid. The deck grinds efficiently and closes through layered death triggers rather than combat.
