Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact deck is helmed by Sai, Master Thopterist, focusing on generating a large swarm of 1/1 flying Thopter tokens by casting low-cost artifacts and cost reducers. The strategy establishes an early engine by Turn 4 using mana accelerators like Etherium Sculptor, Sol Ring, and Chief Engineer, rapidly converting artifact casts into flying board presence and card advantage via Skullclamp, Vedalken Archmage, and Bident of Thassa. Critical pressure manifests around Turn 6 through sudden lethal buffs—such as activating Leonardo da Vinci to turn all Thopters into massive 6/6+ creatures, creating huge Construct tokens with Simulacrum Synthesizer, or triggering Mechanized Production. The deck defends its board with Padeem, Consul of Innovation, Spellskite, and efficient counterspells, while packing asymmetric sweepers like Cyclonic Rift and Desynchronization to clear paths for decisive flying alpha strikes by Turn 7.
