This mono-red deck plays Kharn the Betrayer as a hot-potato engine. You cast the 5/1 Kharn, protect it with equipment, and let its replacement effect pass it to an opponent instead of taking damage, drawing two cards each time you lose control. Goad auras like Shiny Impetus and Acquired Mutation, equipment like Bloodthirsty Blade and Assault Suit, and mass goad spells force opponents to attack each other while you stay safe. Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos acts as a hidden commander with the same pass-around attack pattern, while Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Rite of the Raging Storm, and Brash Taunter provide secondary pressure. You win as the table grinds itself down and you close with doubled damage or a steal effect.
