Angels but not by RCG

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Forgotten Archangel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes a midrange Angel tribal and lifegain strategy commanded by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. Early turns focus on establishing early lifegain payoffs and cost reduction to build a formidable flying board. Liesa provides built-in graveyard recursion for your nontoken creatures while exiling opposing casualties to break symmetric board wipes in your favor. As your life total swells, anthems like Righteous Valkyrie and Archangel of Thune supercharge your aerial attackers. The primary win condition is closing the game through overwhelming evasive combat damage powered by Akroma's Will, True Conviction, or the alternate elimination trigger of Angel of Destiny.
