Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender leads an aggressive Mardu token deck that converts combat into extra attackers, cards, and life loss. The plan is to curve into Zurgo, attack each turn, and let the mobilized 1/1's end-step sacrifice provide card advantage. Token producers such as Release the Dogs, Hero of Bladehold, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar build a wide board, while drain effects like Bastion of Remembrance, Impact Tremors, and Within Range turn that board into table-wide damage. All-Out Assault supplies an extra combat finisher. Secondary legends such as Neriv, Crackling Vanguard and Garna, Bloodfist of Keld support the same shell. The deck has no infinite combos and relies on massed attackers plus incremental drain to close games.
