Thranduil by user5259220

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a Sultai Elf-value engine built around Thranduil, the Elvenking. Thranduil's main job is to hoard activated abilities from Elves in the graveyard, especially Marwyn, Priest of Titania, and Selvala, turning a single commander into a reusable mana battery. The primary plan is to land an early mana Elf, put one of those dorks into the graveyard through Glarb/surveil or Thranduil's draw-discard, then pair Thranduil with Staff of Domination to draw the library and finish with Shaman of the Pack. Muldrotha and recursion provide a second path, and Maskwood Nexus/Springleaf Parade make cheap Elf counts for drain and mana. There is no double-faced commander; the deck uses only Thranduil, the Elvenking.
