Is This Your Card? (tarot for dummies) by Aksyis

Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger deck helmed by Massimo, the Magician, built around a unique engine: exiling 1-mana instants and sorceries from the graveyard and stapling them onto evasive creatures as combat-damage triggers. The deck's core loop is casting cheap cantrips and looting spells to fill the graveyard, then deploying unblockable or hard-to-block creatures that copy and cast those spells for free on contact. The primary win condition is overwhelming value and token generation from Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, and Monastery Mentor, backed by direct damage from Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription, with Aetherflux Reservoir as a storm-style finisher. The deck is highly synergistic, low to the ground (average MV 2.16), and aims to chain spells together for explosive turns.
