Format: Commander

Commander: Gyruda, Doom of Depths

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gyruda, Doom of Depths leads a Dimir combo-value deck. The primary plan is a compact Thassa's Oracle kill via Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact; Gyruda is the engine that mills four from each player and can repeatedly cheat an even-CMC creature into play. Clone effects, Sakashima cards, and cheap reanimation loop extra Gyruda triggers to steal or reanimate threats. The hidden commanders are Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Sakashima the Impostor, which copy Gyruda while dodging the legend rule, producing extra mill triggers. Fast mana and free counterspells accelerate the Oracle line and protect it.
