Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Tetsuo, Imperial Champion. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-cost Equipment during the early turns, casting Tetsuo on curve, and immediately converting attack steps into immense tempo and damage advantages. Whenever Tetsuo attacks while equipped, it either deals direct burn to any target based on the highest mana value among attached Equipment or casts instant and sorcery spells from hand for free. The deck leverages high-impact spells such as Ancestral Vision, Brainsurge, and Savage Beating to refill the hand and generate additional combat steps without spending mana. Win conditions revolve around stacking lethal commander damage using power amplifiers like Blackblade Reforged, Fireshrieker, and Jeska, Thrice Reborn, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads single-target combat damage across the entire table. Defensive Equipment like Lightning Greaves and Brotherhood Regalia protect Tetsuo while ensuring attacks connect unhindered.
