Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat midrange strategy helmed by Thantis, the Warweaver. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing pillowfort and deterrent pieces, and deploying Thantis or redundant forced-combat anchors like Fumiko the Lowblood and Kardur, Doomscourge. By forcing every creature on the board to attack each combat if able, the deck turns opponents' utility creatures into casualties, depletes defensive blockers, and causes players to whittle down each other's life totals. Meanwhile, deterrents such as Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Revenge of Ravens, and Dread make attacking this deck disadvantageous. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from defensive attrition into an aggressive closeout using massive trample threats like Quartzwood Crasher, Pathbreaker Ibex, Death Kiss, or overrun effects like Beastmaster Ascension and Insurrection, eliminating the remaining opponents in decisive combat steps.
