Stay Puft by Fredrikie

Format: Commander

Commander: Slimer and Stay Puft

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari "power matters" voltron deck helmed by Yargle and Multani, an 18/6 commander that defines the entire game plan. The primary win is suiting the commander up with infect - Grafted Exoskeleton, Phyresis, or a surprise Tainted Strike - so a single 18-power hit deals 10 poison and eliminates a player outright; alternatively, two hits close out 21 commander damage. Power-based payoffs like Essence Harvest, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker convert the enormous body into life drain and card advantage, while The Skullspore Nexus doubles power and Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Emrakul, the Promised End, and Jumbo Cactuar serve as backup beaters. A dense land-ramp package and a suite of "return when dies" spells keep the commander on the battlefield.
