Deck overview

This mono-green deck is an aggressive stompy archetype commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The deck operates on a simple and effective resource conversion plan: accelerate early mana with 1-drop and 2-drop dorks, deploy undercosted creatures with massive base power like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion, and cast Ghalta for just two green mana as early as turn 4. The list leverages power-based card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to keep hand sizes full while developing giant boards. Combat finishers including Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Surrak and Goreclaw provide trample and massive stat boosts to break through board stalls and eliminate the table across turns 5 to 7. While vulnerable to board sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck possesses high natural threat density and recovers quickly by chaining large threats.
