Deck overview

This Jund deck is led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, focusing on weaponizing -1/-1 counters, blight, and wither mechanics to generate overwhelming card advantage while draining opponent life totals. The deck deploys early mana dorks and rocks to cast Auntie Ool on Turn 4, quickly following up with synergistic engines like Nest of Scarabs, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, and Sinister Gnarlbark. On Turn 6, mass counter placers such as Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Archfiend of Ifnir decimate opposing boards, produce wide armies of deathtouch Snakes and Insects, and trigger Auntie Ool to draw multiple cards while draining opponents. Win conditions include crushing combat steps, incremental drain from Obelisk Spider and Lasting Tarfire, stax locks with Kulrath Knight, and an infinite power combo via Devoted Druid and Quillspike. High card velocity and potent reanimation ensure consistent mid-to-late game resilience.
