Elves by sadlygoodid

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf self-mill deck. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with Elf creatures, then use Thranduil's acquired activated abilities-especially Llanowar Elves, Devoted Druid, and Woodland Weavemaster-to generate bursts of mana and value. Landfall engines such as Thranduil's Company, Down in the Valley, and Tyvar Kell create a wide token army. The secondary path is graveyard recursion through Deadbridge Chant, Lively Dirge, and Wildest Dreams. The commander is single-faced: the alternate Thranduil, Sindarin Liege is a support card in the 99. Wins usually come from mid-combat pump effects rather than a compact combo.
