Commander: Ghoulcaller Gisa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ghoulcaller Gisa leads a mono-black sacrifice deck built on a simple, brutal loop: deploy aggressively undercosted giants with drawbacks, feed them to Gisa, and cash their power in as a 2/2 Zombie swarm. The list is full of ideal fodder - Rotting Regisaur, Abyssal Persecutor, Kalakscion, Hunger Tyrant, Flesh Reaver, Rot-Curse Rakshasa, and warp-able threats like Bygone Colossus - then reanimates them with Victimize, Blood for Bones, Dread Return, and Phyrexian Reclamation to run the loop again and again. Every sacrifice feeds a parallel aristocrat matrix: Blood Artist, Vengeful Bloodwitch, Bastion of Remembrance, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Grave Venerations drain the whole table, while Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER and Plumb the Forbidden convert deaths into cards. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by grinding out a critical mass of Zombies, pumping them with Death Baron/Lord of the Accursed, then closing on a drain-and-alpha turn. Gisa, the Hellraiser and Sothera, the Supervoid in the 99 double down on the theme.
