Staxy Doctors by zeboss

Format: Commander

Commander: The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is an Esper group-hug control deck built around The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough. Its primary plan is to force every opponent to draw far past seven cards, then convert those large hands into life loss with Underworld Dreams, Black Vise, Viseling, Ebony Owl Netsuke, and Price of Knowledge. The Second Doctor provides no maximum hand size and a repeatable end-step draw that deters attacks, while Vislor is an optional goaded hand-size punisher. Secondary paths are stax and politics: one-spell-per-turn pieces, Winter Moon, and Cursed Totem buy time, while Assault Suit and Reins of Power create combat tricks. The deck wins through incremental upkeep triggers and large X-draw spells, not combat.
