Format: Commander

Commander: The Ghoul, Gunslinger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ghoul, Gunslinger is a mono-black Zombie/Mutant deck that turns every nontoken Zombie death into rad counters, milling opponents while Syr Konrad and Blood Artist drain the table. The commander's trigger is versatile: aimed at an opponent it accelerates the mill kill; aimed at yourself it makes Treasures that fuel reanimation. There is no double-faced commander; Syr Konrad, the Grim is the hidden backup commander and combo outlet. The primary finish is the Ashnod's Altar plus Gravecrawler plus Pitiless Plunderer loop, with a secondary combat/mass-reanimation plan through Living Death, Grave Titan, and zombie lords.
