Format: Commander

Commander: Blim, Comedic Genius

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos "bad Santa" deck built around Blim, Comedic Genius, whose combat damage trigger donates a cursed permanent to the damaged player and then makes every player lose life and discard cards equal to the number of permanents they control but don't own. The plan is to load up on harmful permanents such as Demonic Pact, Nefarious Lich, Lich's Mastery, Archfiend of the Dross, and Abyssal Persecutor, then hand them to opponents with Harmless Offering, Bazaar Trader, Fateful Handoff, or Blim himself. Discard payoffs like Waste Not, Megrim, Geth's Grimoire, and Tinybones, Bauble Burglar convert forced discards into mana, zombies, cards, and damage. Political threats Xantcha, Sleeper Agent and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos force combat, while a Worldfire + Chandra, Awakened Inferno emblem reset provides an alternate finish.
