Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color Big Spells and Token Control strategy helmed by Friends Forever partners Cecily, Haunted Mage and Othelm, Sigardian Outcast. The deck leverages efficient 1-2 CMC ramp and token engines like Smothering Tithe, Academy Manufactor, and Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff to rapidly build a massive mana base. It transitions into overwhelming advantage by casting massive sorceries such as Emergent Ultimatum, Peer into the Abyss, Time Stretch, and Ruinous Ultimatum, either by hardcasting them or cheating them via Cecily's eleven-card attack trigger. Strong protection pieces like Grand Abolisher and Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun guarantee that winning turns resolve without interference from opposing interaction. Once Emergent Ultimatum or Peer into the Abyss resolves, the deck chains extra turns and draws half its library to wipe opposing boards and drain the table via Mirkwood Bats, securing a decisive victory.
