Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-tempo Temur creature-combo deck built around Animar's cost reduction. The primary plan is to drop Animar early, chain cheap creatures to grow the discount, and draw through Glimpse of Nature, Beast Whisperer, or Guardian Project until it can loop Ancestral Statue infinitely. Purphoros, God of the Forge acts as a hidden commander, turning each repeated statue entry into 2 damage to each opponent. Secondary plans use the same creature shell to assemble infinite mana via Bloom Tender plus Freed from the Real or Basalt Monolith plus Kinnan, then dump that mana into Walking Ballista. A dense instant-speed tutor suite lets the deck pivot to whichever line is least interactable.
