Deck overview

This Teysa Karlov deck is an optimized Orzhov aristocrats engine engineered to convert creature deaths into compounding resource advantage, asymmetric board locks, and inescapable table-wide life drain. The deck builds around four highly redundant pillars: cheap recursive fodder and afterlife creatures, free sacrifice outlets, card draw engines, and blood artist drain payoffs. Once Teysa Karlov enters the battlefield, her static ability doubles every triggered ability resulting from creature deaths, effectively turning single token sacrifices into double card draws, double treasure generation with Pitiless Plunderer, and quadruple life swings across the table. Defensive stax pieces like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos exploit this multiplier to strip opposing boards clean of creatures whenever you sacrifice a token. Without relying on infinite loops, the deck generates overwhelming momentum by Turn 4 to 5 and closes games by Turn 7 through unstoppable waves of life drain and instant-speed sacrifice responses.
