Deck overview

This is a Jund Insect tribal aristocrats deck helmed by Xira, the Golden Sting. The core plan floods the board with Insect tokens and midrange bodies, then converts deaths into card advantage and more Insects via Xira's egg counters, Moldervine Reclamation, Deathreap Ritual, and drain payoffs like Aatchik, Emerald Radian. Xira's haste lets her attack immediately, tagging creatures so their deaths draw cards and spawn fliers. The deck leans on recursion (Gleancrawler, Liliana, Death's Majesty, Zombify), sacrifice outlets, and go-wide combat finishers such as Giant Adephage, Hornet Queen, and anthem effects. There are no infinite combos; wins come from attrition combat, life drain, and opportunistic wipes into rebuilt Insect swarms. Xira is a strong value engine but the 99 still functions as a midrange Insect/sacrifice deck without her.
