Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Voltron and historic aggro strategy helmed by Edgar, Master Machinist. The game plan revolves around exploiting Edgar's two synergistic abilities: casting an artifact from the graveyard once per turn and gaining a massive power buff on attack equal to the highest mana value among artifacts you control. The deck leverages high-mana-value artifacts like Excalibur, Sword of Eden (MV 12) and Ruin Grinder (MV 6) alongside cheap rummage spells like Faithless Looting to rapidly bin large artifacts. Once Edgar lands on Turn 4, it swings on Turn 5 as an enormous lethal threat with built-in evasion or double strike from cards like Brotherhood Regalia and Twin Blades. While the deck features high Equipment redundancy and reliable card flow from the graveyard, it operates through single-target combat damage, has limited stack interaction, and relies on on-board equipment rather than instant spells for protection.
