Magnus by Manbeard

Format: Commander

Commander: Magnus the Red

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger/tokens deck is helmed by Magnus the Red, whose cost reduction for instant and sorcery spells scales with your creature token count. The primary strategy is to generate a wide board of tokens through spells like Young Pyromancer and Third Path Iconoclast, then either use the commander's reduction to cast massive X-spells (Crackle with Power, Jaya's Immolating Inferno) or win through cumulative pings from Impact Tremors and Molten Gatekeeper. The deck also includes a single extra-turn engine via The Legend of Kuruk for a late-game advantage. It leans on interaction and card draw to control the table while building a token army.
