The Dark Lord’s Daycare by Boralin

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Ring-tempation and Amass midrange deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The plan is to flood the board with a growing Orc Army and a critical mass of Nazgul, then convert Ring temptation triggers into massive card advantage via Sauron's discard-and-draw-four clause. Sauron himself is a 7/6 ward body that amasses whenever opponents cast spells, so the Army fattens passively in multiplayer while combat connections and dedicated Ring pieces (Call of the Ring, the nine Nazgul, Birthday Escape) keep the temptation engine firing. Secondary paths include suiting Sauron or the Army with equipment for commander damage or tramply beats, a poison line off Glistening Oil, and a one-shot closer in Chandra's Ignition. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through inexorable combat pressure backed by dense instant-speed interaction.
