Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu reactive midrange list designed around multiplayer resource arbitrage. Rather than preventing opponents from taking game actions, it exploits routine plays like drawing, searching, casting spells, and attacking to generate continuous card draw, Treasure tokens, and disposable creature bodies. Queen Marchesa introduces the Monarch mechanic to stimulate combat between opponents while drawing cards. An extensive instant-speed interaction suite, backed by Sunforger and Toshiro Umezawa, keeps dangerous threats in check and redirects massive damage back at attackers using cards like Deflecting Palm and Delirium. The deck closes games by casting Taunt from the Rampart to force opponents into unblockable, lethal combat against one another, followed by direct burn and creature combat to eliminate the final survivor.
